Clairvoyance: Psychic Seeing

Clairvoyance is one of the better-known psychic abilities. It is featured in fiction and mentioned in history. Anecdotal evidence abounds for this psychic talent.

Telling the future, remote viewing and having visions of events past or future are all types of 'psychic seeing' activities. The most famous psychics, like Nostradamus, were employed by heads of state as advisers.

Does it sound crazy for a king or president to consult a psychic? Nancy Reagan was criticized when she admitted she consulted an astrologer. Yet for thousands of years, this has been accepted practice for heads of state.

Maybe if President Kennedy had hired psychic Jeane Dixon as an advisor, he would still be alive. She predicted his assassination. Some reports say she even gave the date and tried to contact him to warn him.

Polls show that 25-33% of the American public believe in clairvoyance. That's one out of every 3 or 4 people.

• Can you visualize things easily?
• Do you remember visual details like shape and color?
• Are you a visual learner?
• Have you ever had deja vu?

If you say yes to any of the above, you might have a natural tendency towards 'psychic seeing'.

Can You Become a Seer?

The answer is yes. While some people are clairvoyant from childhood, it is possible to develop this talent later in life.

How can you do that? There are a number of paths to psychic development.

• Karma: This relates to cause and effect from past lives. Being born with psychic abilities would be an example of karma in many cases.
• Practices like yoga, chanting and meditation, when used in a spiritual way. They can clear negative energy and create a path to enlightenment. Psychic abilities are developed along the way, not as a main goal.
• Grace: Sometimes a gift comes in with no obvious reason behind it. Consider it a divine present and use it wisely.

We do not advise pursuing psychic powers for themselves. Rather, we encourage you to develop your intuition and improve your life by using it.

There is a subtle difference in these two aims. Ancient religions warn that aiming at psychic powers for their own sake can have a negative effect.

Another important thing is to reinforce any psychic information that comes to you. If you have a moment of deja vu, don't brush it off. Examine it. Feel it. Be open to what it is telling you.

If psychic information comes in about distant and unrelated events and people, you may have a chakra imbalance. Balancing your chakras can help you to receive more useful information, sort of like being able to tune a radio to a station you like.
